We get e-mails every day from people just like yourself. Many of them have become frustrated, stressed, and say they are ready to give up. Often we here the same complaint: “My dog isn’t trainable”.

Yes, You heard me correctly. People are claiming that their dogs cannot be trained. As we know and even Pavlov himself has proven time and again, ALL DOGS ARE TRAINABLE!!!

Yes all dogs, without exception can be taught something, and they can learn something. However much like going through school ourselves, it is not always the students fault. Sometimes the blame is the teachers. No, not our fault, but you the one training the dog.

This has prompted us to release a series this week of ten things you (the dog trainer) must learn, know, or do before you can even start to train your dogs.

For some of you these steps may come as a shock, others maybe not. But they are all necessary and they will all make an impact on how you train your dogs.

So since dogs can learn, and it is up to you to teach them, lets spend a few days to see how we can become better trainers. See you this week.

A dog that is comfortable with the public and can interact well with people and other dogs.You can even say that this is actually a healthy and happy dog. A dog with poor social orientation, on the other hand, is rather perceived dangerous to the community.
